PABLO-WEST (2019)
A tool that allows users to type in lyrics and find meaningful artwork that the text is most likely to be related to. Pablo-West was inspired by FlyArt tumblr, which juxtaposes rap lyrics over classical paintings and fine art. This project was created by Eric Chu, who used semantic (the content of the lyric and painting), emotional (the emotions in the lyric and the painting), and contextual information (such as the song, album, and circumstance in which the lyric was created) to match the painting to the lyrics. I designed and developed the front-end for the tool.

TRAILS (2017)
We spend a lot of time navigating existing paths - for running, guided tours, hiking, or getting back home safe. Trails is an Augmented Reality concept app that provides users with a trail of footsteps to follow while walking on a path. One does not have to spend any time and conscious energy navigating, as Trails trains itself to understand older, safer, and more established routes. Users can select an existing path and integrate that into the environment resulting in footsteps formed in front of them. This concept was created for the "Reality, Virtually" hackathon held at MIT.

SPIDER RUSH (2015)
For a Zynga hackathon, I worked with a team to create an endless runner game with an additional shooting mechanic. The game involves a spider endlessly running across snowy mountains and shooting down enemies with fire and ice modes. The primary features of our game were:
Endless Running with a dynamic map creation
Collecting Coin/Resources on the map
Handling speed boosts
Obstacle avoidance
Shield Mechanism
Shooting down enemies
Avoiding enemy bullet trajectories
For added complexity, we including the following game logic:
Two kinds of enemies - with Fire and Ice bullets
Two types of shields - Red shield avoids Fire bullets, Blue shield avoids Ice bullets
Shifting between shields determines which enemies to avoid or kill.
We first built a primitive endless runner environment with coin collection and enemy avoidance.
Then, we included assets and meshes into the game, to create our final version.

EDUCATOR LICENSING (2013)
I worked as a full-stack Software Engineer for Exeter Group, a civic technology company focused on American healthcare exchange programs and licensing. This is a prototype application for obtaining an Educator/Teacher's License and its eligibility for a specific US state. I designed the front-end experience, and worked with a team to build the rest of the application. It includes a login screen (not shown), eligibility questionnaire screens and transaction complete screens, along with a QR code.
